I consciously choose to embrace all aspects of self with loving kindness.

Receive SELF
Welcome SELF
Be SELF
SELF=Sit Empty Living Freely.

We all have two choices either to rest with the “isness” of life or resist it. Although when we choose to resist still the letters IS remain in the word resist too. Once we acknowledge and become aware of the IS of life then it transforms to rest. Something to ponder about for me and you.

No Drama, no Trauma only Rama.

I choose to serve life and get served by life.
I choose to see life and get seen by life.
I choose to feel life and be felt by life.
I choose to feel alive and be a part of living life.

Are you tired of living a mundane life, or just living day-to-day without any fulfillment? Well, get a dream. Find your passion. When you find your passion you will be excited about getting started and seeing it come to fruition.

A person who does not follow his passion is likely to encounter more frustration in his work life than someone who does. All people have passions; however, some people do not know what their passions are and this lack of awareness could be the reason that they are living less than exciting lives.

Following your passion is something that you can do. This may come to you at an early age or later on in life. However following your passion always leads to fulfillment in your life so pay close attention.

Joseph Campbell says it well: “Your whole physical being knows that this [following your passion] is the way to be alive in this world and the way to give to the world the very best that you have to offer. There is a track just waiting there for each of us, and once on it, doors will open that were not open before and would not open for anyone else.”

You start by simply believing in yourself. Take stock of your assets, your strong points, and then see how you can best use them. Very often it’s a lack of self-confidence that keeps us in positions we don’t like. If this is the case then embark upon a daily program designed to build self-confidence. Make this your first priority, and once this is achieved, your perspectives too will change.

You may think of yourself as a parent or spouse or in terms of your present job or profession, but that is only a part of who you are. Beyond this what are your possibilities? You have talents and strengths. You have natural inclinations towards certain subjects, while others have no interest to you. You have activities that bring you pleasure and others that you disdain. In fact you are quite unique, and this uniqueness can be your compass. Trust it and let it lead you.

Everyone has his or her own specific vocation or mission in life. It cannot be replaced by something else, nor can someone else do it for you. Everyone’s task is to discover his or her uniqueness and find an opportunity to implement it.

Life is filled with choices and opportunities, so follow your heart, your instinct. Find something you can be passionate about and devote yourself to it. This is where your personal fulfillment as well as your contribution to the world lies.

Remind yourself that you possess a powerful subconscious mind that will guide you. Go to it daily, instructing it to bring you the answers you are looking for.

Make Lists:

  • Write down all the activities that give you pleasure.
  • Write down your mental assets and strengths, your past and present accomplishments.
  • Write down choices that you would make for yourself if money were not an issue and careers that sound interesting regardless of whether you think you have the talent or opportunity to pursue them.
  • Open up your mind to options and possibilities. Dare to dream. There are no boundaries except those that exist in your mind. As media tycoon Rupert Murdoch said, “Fortune favors the bold.”

No amount of money, no matter how much it is, will ever compensate you sufficiently for remaining in a job that is drudgery and robs you of your spirit, or one that prevents you from fulfilling a dream. As the old saying goes, “In your haste to make a living don’t forget to make a life.” Be bold; forge off in a direction that you have a passion for.

Follow your dream. Trust your instincts. Find that something you can believe in passionately and give it your all. Do what you love; the money will follow.

Following your heart’s longing has  the following benefits:

1. Fulfillment

That feeling of wholeness, of fulfillment cannot be beat.

2. Expertise

The world needs your expertise. You are unique. You are awesome at one or several things and you need to share your stuff so others can learn and grow.Do what you love and let the creativity flow.

3. Growth

In order to grow, have your eyes on the goal of growth. Believe and always hope for the best as it is only then that growth happens.

4. Synchronicity

Synchronicity is often called mere coincidence by those that do not believe in the force. The universe works in mysterious ways. You will see this when you start following your excitement. Somehow everything starts lining up. When you’re working at a soul-killing job the universe is trying to shake you awake.

5. Change

Change starts within each of us. Stop making excuses and start taking action.

A poem for you: The Invitation by Oriah Mountain Dreamer

It doesn’t interest me
what you do for a living.
I want to know
what you ache for
and if you dare to dream
of meeting your heart’s longing.

It doesn’t interest me
how old you are.
I want to know
if you will risk
looking like a fool
for love
for your dream
for the adventure of being alive.

It doesn’t interest me
what planets are
squaring your moon…
I want to know
if you have touched
the centre of your own sorrow
if you have been opened
by life’s betrayals
or have become shrivelled and closed
from fear of further pain.

I want to know
if you can sit with pain
mine or your own
without moving to hide it
or fade it
or fix it.

I want to know
if you can be with joy
mine or your own
if you can dance with wildness
and let the ecstasy fill you
to the tips of your fingers and toes
without cautioning us
to be careful
to be realistic
to remember the limitations
of being human.

It doesn’t interest me
if the story you are telling me
is true.
I want to know if you can
disappoint another
to be true to yourself.
If you can bear
the accusation of betrayal
and not betray your own soul.
If you can be faithless
and therefore trustworthy.

I want to know if you can see Beauty
even when it is not pretty
every day.
And if you can source your own life
from its presence.

I want to know
if you can live with failure
yours and mine
and still stand at the edge of the lake
and shout to the silver of the full moon,
“Yes.”

It doesn’t interest me
to know where you live
or how much money you have.
I want to know if you can get up
after the night of grief and despair
weary and bruised to the bone
and do what needs to be done
to feed the children.

It doesn’t interest me
who you know
or how you came to be here.
I want to know if you will stand
in the centre of the fire
with me
and not shrink back.

It doesn’t interest me
where or what or with whom
you have studied.
I want to know
what sustains you
from the inside
when all else falls away.

May all beings awaken to their true passion and follow their heart’s longing. Being in the flow of life that is always filled with grace only when you choose to see it always.Open to receive it and know that you can be who you want to be now and forever.

The secret of happiness is to count your blessings while others are adding up their troubles.  ——William Penn

This morning when I woke up and checked my email there was a gentle blessing waiting for me. This was sent to me by a friend. As I watched the video, I felt immensely grateful and happy. It made me feel charged to move along my entire day. And since I have committed to writing on my blog daily, I immediately knew that “Blessing’ would be my topic for the day.

Let’s explore a few meanings of this magical word,”Blessing”. Here are some of them that I found which I would like to share, they are as follows:

Blessing means to wish unconditionally from the deepest chambers of our heart infinite goodness for others.

Blessing also means to acknowledge the omnipresent, universal beauty hidden from material eyes.

Blessing is the gift of connection.

Blessing is a thought focused on the divine oneness of all people, animals, nature, creation.

Blessing is an intentional moment taken out in time to be aware of unison to create a symbol in art word, prayer or thought , representing that unison with another.

Blessing is to offer another the opening or opportunity to experience Oneness.

Blessing is unconditional , often a random act of kindness inspired by an impulse from within.

Blessing can be an artwork, blessing poem or simply a thought , a silent moment of reverence, a phone call spoken with intention to bless, seeing what is usually unseen, taking a moment out of time to focus on divine connection with another being.

Blessing is simply flowing love and appreciation to another. Any “magic” in a blessing comes purely from the love energy which is our Source, and which we call forth whenever we desire, love, or appreciate. A blessing from another may let us become more open to allowing our own connection to Source. When you’re in a place of connection and you flow love to someone, you bless them. A blessing is “a way of returning [someone] to love.”

According to Wikipedia, a blessing is the infusion of something with holiness, divine will, or one’s hopes.

So let us all intend to become aware of the meanings of the word blessing as when something is offered with conscious awareness and intention then the intensity of that manifestation becomes amplified.

We can choose to practice blessing on a daily basis.I share an article that I came across on positive psychology:

As the day comes to a close, allow yourself to think about three things that happened during the day that you are most happy about, and why you believe they happened.

The simple elegance of this exercise is part of the appeal, and in some ways the stumbling block people may find difficulty overcoming. Could it really be that something so easy could have such profound results? The unequivocal answer is yes!

The outcome from doing this exercise is astonishing. Participants doing this exercise for one week increased happiness and decreased depressive symptoms for six months. This is not a misprint. One week of doing this had a lasting effect for six months. While newer research suggests that this technique may actually be more effective if done less frequently rather than more frequently, the basics of the technique have value, a very positive one. The information is pouring in from all corners of the globe, and it is becoming clear that positive psychology is free, easy, effective, and worth the try.

Personally I choose to acknowledge  three blessings in my life per day. I write these down and I am in deep gratitude for them. This helps me bring in the vibrational frequency of the source into my beingness on a daily basis. I also make a conscious choice to offer three blessings a day to the world. I choose to give back what I receive. This keeps the continnum flow of blessings to circle my life and the life of the planet that I live in.

As Charles Dickens says: “Reflect on your present blessings, on which every man has many, not on your past misfortunes, of which all men have some.”

“Focussing on a solution brings about a resolution that leads to evolution.” I invite you to focus on Blessings as being the solution to all.

May all beings be blessed infinitely now and forever.

An Irish Blessing for you,

May the road rise to meet you.
May the wind always be at your back.
May sun shine warm upon your face,
the rain fall soft upon your fields,
and until we meet again
may God hold you in the hollow of His hand.

Imagine the batteries that run our tape recorders. One end is negative; one end is positive. Now, it doesn’t mean that the negative end is bad or the positive end is good, but that they are opposite charges. Both charges are necessary to run the tape recorder. Similarly, we live in a world of duality that contains the opposites.  Both the opposites are needed to make us whole.
We live in a physical universe that consists of many opposites. This polarity can be found in all things including our emotions and feelings. For example, we know that for sadness there is joy, for love there is fear, for hatred there is compassion, for anger there is forgiveness, and so on.
Each of us then, has masculine and feminine energy within us. Together those energies act like a battery. They are the fuel that allows us to be who we are in this dimension. We need to develop an intimate relationship with them. This allows for the ultimate balance, the ultimate integration of energies in this dimensional reality.
We need to allow and accept every energy and invite it like a guest who is at our door and welcome it with kindness. We need to make a conscious choice to allow it to exist. When we intend to hold both the opposites within our own body simultaneously. It is then that we create an internal charge of oneness, wholeness that awakens the presence of the “I AM”, the eternal truth of who we are gets ignited in our body, mind and spirit.
It is then that we come into synch and balance within and around in all aspects of our lives.

Without balance, life can become messy. The very definition of balance is simply having things in equal proportion—a harmonious arrangement of elements within a whole.

Spiritual Balance is the root of happiness; it is joy, bliss, unconditional love, harmony, living in the flow, a sense of unity, and a calmness about your life, your transitions and the changes you’re going through.

Balance is a journey, not a destination. Balance suggests you put your will in harmony with the Universe; that you live in the flow with the Universe.

This is a constant practice to bring about balance in a dual world.

A Poem about allowing opposites:

I am the feminine.
I am the masculine.
I am one and I am both.
My darkness can be trying.
My lightness can be blinding.
But in balance there is harmony.
There is always a choice to make.
Which one will it be?
The path of surrender,
Or the one of resistance?
They both lead to the same goal.
The darkness is only the void
That you travel from time to time.
The lightness is the intuition that
Gently guides you from within.
The resistance is to fight the elements.
The surrender is to embrace the flow.
How many falls will you create before
You walk on steady ground?
Which is better for you?
Harmony and freedom,
Or chaos and turmoil?
What about balance and stability?
I am Yin and I am Yang.
And I can be all that at once.
The choice is yours to make.

May all beings embrace everything to awaken wholeness within.
